This is an encouragement to submit proposals on sustainable agriculture issues to the NRI's
Agricultural Prosperity for Small and Medium Sized Farms Program. The submission deadline is
June 5, 2008. The RFA can be found on pages 111-112 of the NRI RFA:www.csrees.usda.gov/funding/rfas/nri_rfa.html. As you will recall, proposals for this program must be "integrated"[contain at least two of the three functions: research, outreach, and education]. This year the program is highlighting involvement of Extension folks and curriculum development that involves K-12 teachers. The program also encourages applications on sustainable biofuel production. If you need any assistance please contact Suresh Sureshwaran at 202-720-7536 or ssureshwaran@csrees.usda.gov.
